OK. First thing's first: I'm proud to announce that I managed to win my first-ever DA contest over at with this piece:

You see, a couple months ago I learned about stock artists on DA, and I think the discovery has completely changed my art habits. To have references that I don't have to feel bad about using is invaluable, and there are some truly talented stock artists on this site. (Features coming soon.)

Next news! I'm on holidays for the next month, which is awesome since I really need the time to myself. I haven't had a lot of chill time this year, and I won't next year either. So I'm going to appear a little sporadically...


I wish to do a bunch of feature journals with my new membership, but I want to really take the time to make them awesome features, so that's coming soon.


As for new projects? My next plan is to get some work done on the book of fairy tales that I'm making. Any opinions on the matter would be great... Actually, you know what? I can make POLLS! So I'm going to do that. heehee! I'm very excited. Off to Calgary very very early on Tuesday (the 11th of August) to see my brother and his wonderful fiancé for a week. I think I can get some work done there.


I also very recently discovered Nutella... which is going to be very bad for my body and good for my taste buds. Ohmygoodness it's sooooo yummy!
